Panel for Kellie Williams’ youth program
I do what I can whenever I can for the kids. Today I sat on a panel of fellow media professionals in front of an audience of high school students. They were from Virginia on a field trip to New York. Not only did I represent editorial and production and dotcom but I even had to rep men on panel with mostly consumer marketing women.
The extracurricular youth achievement program is run by former child star Kellie Williams and it was cool to meet her briefly. She’s all grown up now. I honestly never knew her actual name, just remembered that she played on the sitcom Family Matters where she and everyone else always got upstaged by the unforgettable character Urkel.
